I first met Optimus as Orion Pax, an Iaconian policemech, when he was sent to arrest Swindle, who had been supplying the rebels I lead. It was supposed to end in his death, and that of his unit so that Zeta Prime could attack Nyon but it didn't, so he sent Pax to arrest me. Learning of Zeta's plans, Pax assisted me in attempting to save Nyon by distracting Zeta's Omega Destructors. He treated me as an equal. Me. He was sent to capture me, but heard me out, he risked his life for the mechs who followed me, and mourned those who fell same as any of the rebels. The way some of us looked at him, you'd think Primus himself sent him. And then he became a Prime. So did I, but it was in many ways the worst thing that happened to me. Firstly, because it meant he was gone. Secondly, because when he returned, I was no longer needed. I was surplus. Of course, he said otherwise, but I knew better. I just want to stand next to him again, but he got so far ahead of me.
